FAQs

OK, so nobody has actually asked us anything. Never mind that.
Q: Do you do licensed manga?
A: No. We will drop a project and remove the links if it gets licensed (as unlikely as that sounds).
Q: Can we host your releases?
A: We don’t really see the point in hosting stuff already available for direct download, but go ahead anyway. In the (unlikely) event that our projects get licensed, though, we would appreciate it if you remove them.
Q: When will [insert title] be released?
A: When it’s ready. When we feel like releasing. We don’t have a fixed schedule. Boo.
Q: Do you plan to work on longer projects?
A: At the moment, we’re concentrating on one-shots. Although, we just *might* pick longer projects–the keyword being “might”. Or if Yokobaba ever starts a series.
Q: What sorts of stories do you work on?
A: We work on pretty pictures with pretty plots, especially those with elements of fantasy, the supernatural, folklore, romance, mystery, history, and politics.
Q: Can we re-scanlate your releases into another language?
A: We don’t really care if you do. We don’t understand them anyway. Nor can we stop you. Don’t beg us for the raws.
Q: Can we join you?
A: We’re not really recruiting people. Unless, of course, you have uber Photoshop skills, have a flair with words, know some Japanese and Italian, or are a fan of Yamazaki Takako, preferably all rolled into one. People who can scan old issues of LaLaDX and Melody (for older works of Mikami Chito, Nakano Emiko, Yukimura Yuni, and Yokobaba Ryo) are also welcome. Contact kuinni at kuinni[at]gmail[dot]com for details. Um, yeah.
